Feral Flora is a private company based in Ann Arbor, MI. We serve Washtenaw County and adjacent areas. Using our understanding of natural systems, we create living landscapes with a sense of place using native and nearly native plants in a naturalistic style. From a small urban garden to installing 25 acres of native seed, we can help you select the right plants for a long-lived, low-maintenance, low-input garden that is beautiful and alive with life.

  • Planting installation, first and foremost

  • Native seeding

  • Stonework

  • Rain gardens & stormwater management

  • Landscape design

  • Stewardship of ecological landscapes and natural areas

  • Consultation on any of the above

Things we don't do

Landscape Architect Consulting Services

  • Plan review

  • Evaluation of plant choices to ensure you are meeting your goals for function, aesthetics, and long-term survival

  • Suggestions for plant species substitutions, sourcing, and size changes in order to reduce cost, increase function (erosion, stormwater, habitat), reduce long-term maintenance, increase survival, and ensure plant community capability.

  • Unique approach to plant selection from the idea that we are creating a community, not individual plants.
